Exceptional Colt Model 1851 Navy, this Colt Navy is very high condition compared to the normal found ones. This pistol retains 95% original high polish barrel blue, the frame retains 85-90% original case hardened finish. The cylinder retains virtually all of the Naval Battle scene and retains nearly 65% original blue finish. The grips is also exceptional and retains 93-94% original varnish. Loading lever retains 80% original and visible case hardened finish. This is a late gun being serial number 214,3**. All numbers match except for the wedge. The action functions flawlessly. This gun has a stunning look to it and is almost impossible to improve upon, I’ve only had one better 1851 in 10 years of being a dealer. It was a Martially Insoected model although. This is by far the best civilian 1851 I’ve had and a stunning investment quality or to upgrade your collection, it is priced to move at $12,500. This gun has sold for as high as $21,500 by a big dealer in Texas. I am glad to offer a 3 day inspection period on this Colt.
