Description:
Black Diamond Model 12 in 16 gauge matched two barrel set. This gun went to England at some point and was proof stamped by our British allies.There is a fitted leather shotgun case that needs repair and bears a sticker of the "White Star Line" passenger ship.Engraved on the left side of the receiver is "G. Donald Forbes June 25, 1930".G. Donald Forbes was born in London in 1916 and educated in France, Scotland, England, California & Switzerland.He was involved in the development of radar during WWII and an avid hunter.
