Up for sale today is a US Springfield Model 1898 Krag serial no. 216630 chambered in caliber .30-40 Krag. This outstanding original Model 1898 Krag shows excellent finish on the wood and metal components of the rifle. The bore is in outstanding condition, especially given the age of the rifle. The inspector’s cartouche is not readily apparent, but the “proof P” is crisp and clear. An excellent addition to any shooter’s collection.
