Description:
Winchester 16 gauge side by side double barrel shotgun, model 24 made in 1951. Its a very solid shotgun with double triggers and extractors. It has 28 inch barrels choked modified & Full, there is a very small amount of light surface pitting on the muzzle end of the left barrel, the inside of the barrels are brite and shiny with no issues at all. This older shotgun is in very good condition with 85% ot it's metal finish, it works perfect and still looks great, not collector condition but a good hunting condition gun. The stock has had a recoil pad added and the LOP is 13-1/4 inches over the pad. The stock is very solid, no cracks or chips and it has been nicely refinished, not undersanded. The wood has a nice looking reddish brown color and retains 98% of its new varnish. Overall it's a nice looking double barreled shotgun, serial number 291** indicating it was made early in 1942 so a pre-war Winchester.
