Description:
Colt 1911A1 produced in 1943. Colt letter included which lists the piece as shipped to Springfield Ordnance Depot, Springfield Mass on 29 October 1943. Pistol appears all original with slight thinning of finish on the left front of the slide with no rust or pitting. Serial number on frame matches number on slide. Comes with 2 WW2 era magazines marked R and S. Both magazines are clean inside and out and are perfectly functional while showing outside wear. Magazine pouch in very good condition dated 1918 included along with period correct holster in excellent condition made by Graton and Knight dated 1943. Correct/Original Barrel marked Colt .45 auto with P proof mark. Bore is a bright frost with some pitting but holds an outstanding group at 25 yards. Grips are in perfect condition with no cracks. Photos are highly accurate of the pistols condition.
