Full deluxe Winchester Model 1886 rifle, caliber 45-70, with factory letter confirming checkered stock, pistol grip, 45-70 caliber, 26" part octagon barrel with uncommon full magazine as the majority of part octagons came with button or 1/2 magazines, manufactured and shipped in October 1894. 80% deep barrel and mag blue with slight wear at muzzle and some scratching on shooter's right side of barrel and mag tube. Receiver, hammer and lever show some case colors. Deluxe, style "H" checkered stocks in excellent condition showing only normal wear and finish loss, no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, no extra holes, still proud to the metal. Strong action and hammer spring. Half-cock safety seems to function normally. Strong bore with sharp rifling and no pitting, just minor wear. Sights include period rear sight with later thumbprint elevator and original German silver blade front sight. This is a great full deluxe 1886 in one of the prime calibers, a must-have for the Winchester collector. Antique so it can ship directly to you assuming your local laws allow it. I do need a copy of a driver's license for proof of age and identity. No international sales. Shipping to US addresses only is $50 which includes careful packing in a hard case to protect your investment.
