Description:
This Johnson Automatic rifle is a design straight out of a ww2 era time capsule. This rifle was the major competition that eventually lost out to the m1 garand. Interestingly enough the Johnson loads via two 1903 Springfield stripper clips into the side of the gun. The rifle can also be topped off with individual rounds. This rifle is chambered in 30-06 and has all original metal to the best of our knowledge as well as an original bayonet. The wood looks to be a replacement or a post war refinish. Some of these rifles were carried by United States Marines during the Pacific campaign and did see action. No American military rifle collection is truly complete without owning this unique piece of history so give us a call and complete that collection.
