Description:
This Colt Bisley in 32-20 has been fully restored including a new barrel and simulated stag grips. The blue finish is in excellent condition with only a very light turn ring on the cylinder. The grips are in like new condition and fit the gun vey nicely.
The numbers all match and the gun is proofed for smookless powder. The serial number 272388 gives a manufacturing date of 1906 and the gun will need to be shipped to an FFL holder.
The gun was apparently deeply pitted before refinishing and the pitting shows through the new blue finish. Apparently the gun was not deeply buffed before refinishing as the lettering and markings on the gun are strong and clearly visible. The original barrel was so badly pitted that it would not stabilize rounds fired from the gun. The replacement barrel is a first generation Colt barrel and the original barrel is available is desired.
This nice little gun offers its new owner the chance to own a first generation shooter that will preform very nicely for plinking or Cowboy shooting.
