Description:
This is a Winchester model of 1873 chambered in .32 W.C.F.As is typical of firearms of this age the entirety of the metal has taken on a dark patina. There is some evidence of past surface pitting and corrosion; however none of it seems active now. The metal also has some dents and scratches that one may expect from such an old firearm. The dust cover has also come loose/off and the elevation slide for the rear sight is missing.The bore has heavy and deep pitting along the length but the corrosion seems to not be active at this time. The bore is dark but does have some of the rifling left.The wood is in poor to fair condition. The buttstock has deep scratches near the top metal of the buttplate. The forearm has some dents and scratches as well.
