Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 30 Gov’t 06 Carbine
My California client has asked me to place this extremely scarce Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in 30 Gov’t ’06 with 20-inch carbine length barrel. Rifle bears serial # 46002 with matching bolt. Manufactured mid 1942. The clover leaf receiver is not drilled on the rear bridge, it remains factory correct. It does have a Lyman rear peep sight #48 and the stock has been milled out to accommodate the Lyman sight. Original slings and steel butt plate. Receiver stamped “U”. Steel trigger guard and floor plate housing stamped D. Steel grip cap. Factory finish on 20-inch barrel remains at 65-70%. The font sight is integral/machined on the barrel. Receiver better than 85-90%, floor plate and trigger guard have typical wear from field use but easily retains 55-60% of its factory finish. The stock has a few handling marks but no cracks or splits. Please note the dark spot at the toe. This is NOT a chip, it’s a stain of unknown origin. Bore is bright, shiny and the rifling looks sharp and precise. Trigger is nice and crisp.

Returns: Our return policy is simple. It is important to us that you are happy. Guns must not be fired or dissembled before returning them and they must be returned in the same condition as received. Notification of a return must occur with-in 3 days of delivery at your dealer. Shipping, convenience and dealer fees are not refundable and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Ammunition cannot be returned.
Lay-a-way: If desired, we offer a 30,45 or 60 day lay-a-way option on most firearms. It is 1/3 now, 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days. Lay-a-way firearm sales are final and if not completed the payments cannot be returned.
