Description:

FOREHAND ARMS Top Break Hammerless Revolver C&R

5-Shot .32 S&W Pocket Revolver Made Circa 1900

Here we present a Forehand Arms Co. Hammerless Top Break Double Action Revolver in .32 S&W. This 5 shot revolver was manufactured at the turn of the 20th Century. Forehand & Wadsworth was a US firearms manufacturing company based in Worcester, Massachusetts that was formed in 1871 by Sullivan Forehand and Henry C. Wadsworth after the death of their father-in-law, Ethan Allen of Ethan Allen & Company.

The top of the barrel is marked “Forehand Arms Co. Worcester, Mass U.S.A./PAT’D DEC. 7 ’86 JAN 11, ’87 & PAT APPLIED FOR”.

The overall condition is near fine. The original nickel finish is about 90%. The blued finish on the trigger guard is about 60%. The markings are clear and legible. The bore is fair with strong rifling. The original hard rubber grips show the trademark “F&W” and are in great shape. The action on this revolver is excellent.

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.

Barrel is 3 inches.
