Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works
Here we present an excellent Iver Johnson Top Break Revolver in .32 Smith & Wesson, made in the early 20th Century in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.
The top of the barrel is marked “IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/FITCHBURG, MASS. U.S.A.”
The overall condition is excellent. The original nickel finish is nearly complete. The blue on the trigger guard is bright. The case colors are vibrant. The markings are clear and legible. The original hard rubber grips are fine, featuring the trademark Iver Johnson owl. The bore is excellent. The action on this revolver is perfect.
