G. Gibbs Boxlock Non-Ejector 12g Game Gun.
Fitted with 28 ¼" shoe lump barrels, with 2 ½" chambers and choked 1/4 & Half (Imp. Cyl/Mod.), with a smooth concave game rib, auto safety, two triggers, case hardened receiver with border engraving and the maker's name in a banner. Straight hand grip has flat top checkering, and 14 13/16" LOP over a checkered butt, blank gold oval and a splinter forend with an Anson push rod release. Gun has obviously been shot and hunted, but well cared for. Barrels are tight on face, in original proof and have perfect bores, good wall thickness and are dent free. Stock is sound and crack free. Weighs 6 lbs. 4 oz. Overall just a very nice, usable Birmingham boxlock.
