Description:
This 1991 Colt King Cobra with a factory bright stainless finish is beautiful! It features a 4" inch barrel, red ramp front sight with an adjustable target style rear sight, and black rubber finger-groove grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions. The original factory bright stainless finish is in excellent condition, rating 98% with only some tiny handling marks visible under close inspection. This King Cobra is super clean and has likely been fired VERY little since being test fired at the factory. The forcing cone and cylinder face are both very clean and the cylinder shows a very light turn line. The bore in this King Cobra is pristine and still shows sharp lands and grooves in the rifling. There is zero pitting or erosion visible and the cylinder bores are equally as minty. The factory black rubber grips are in excellent condition and show no wear, tears, or repairs. The silver Rampant Colt medallions are bright and clean, and still tight to the grips. Everything on this Colt works 100% like the day it left the factory. The action is very smooth and precise and it locks up tight. It is perfectly "in time" whether the action is worked in single or double action. The trigger and cylinder release all work perfectly. This beautiful King Cobra comes with an original blue factory case and all the original paperwork. The outer box which would have had the serial numbered label was lost. If you have been looking for one of these sought-after bright stainless King Cobras for your collection it would be hard to find a better example than this one. These "Snake guns" from Colt have proven to be excellent investments and particularly the examples in bright stainless.
