Ahoy maties harken back to the days of yore when Britannia ruled the seven seas and the sun never set on the British Empire, trade ships plied the waters ever vigilant for the Jolly Roger to appear upon the horizon. We are pleased to present this Brass barreled blunderbuss from the London firm of Blake. Makers name is in the lock plate London proofs are on the barrel. Measurements are Length over all 31" barrel 15 7/8" with a muzzle flared to 1 1/4". Original flintlock and weatherproof pan. Wood bears sign of a reoil/lacquer and the brass shows and old clean and polish. All screws appear original, original ram rod. The lock spring is strong. This pieces remains in remarkable cleaned but unrestored condition.
