The Colt Government Model MKIV/Series 70 1911 Pistol was made from 1970 to 1983. The 1911 pistols were fitted with a 5 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, fixed sights, blue or nickel finished, and were chambered in .45 ACP, .38 Super, 9mm, and 9mm Steyr. This 1981-1983 vintage 1911 pistol is as described, is blue finished and chambered in .45 ACP. It is in excellent original condition, retaining 99% of its original blue finish, with only a light scratch from the takedown lever sliding along the side of the frame and thinning on the recoil spring plug. The grips are in like new condition and all screw-heads are un-molested. Comes with (1) 7-round magazine and hang tag. Sorry, no box or paper-work.
