Description:
90% blue, 40% straw, Good bore, very good grips, 4'' barrel , This is an example of a DWM 1920 Commercial which has been reworked for military issue during the late 1930s by the Spandau Ordnance Depot. Marked on the right side of the receiver Su/38 beside a droopwinged eagle proof. An additional droop wing eagle proof appears on the left side of the 9mm caliber 4 inch barrel. The original commercial crown/N proofs are stamped on the left side of the receiver and breechbolt. A droop wing eagle proof appears on the left side of the breechbolt as well under the crown/N proof. All the numbered parts are matching except the sheet steel wood bottom magazine which is numbered 787i. The gun retains the original un-numbered safety lever and firing pin, and the takedown lever which is numbered in commercial style on the underside. The other parts are matching numbered in the military style. The sideplate has the original number on the bottom with the same number applied to the side. The grips are not numbered and are E/655 proofed. The finish shows some holstering wear, with areas of thinning and minor spotting. The grips show minor wear with sharp checkering. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some wear with frost in the grooves. Included with this pistol is the original capture papers, dated 1946. C&R/FFL

If 3 days have passed since you received your purchase, and we have not been contacted by you, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
