Description:

U.S. Martial Colt 1855 Revolving Military Rifle. Extremely rare! This is one of the few Colt 1855 revolving rifles that is martially marked, the right hand side of the stock at the writ has a visible cartouche. This gun has a tobacco brown colored smooth patina on the barrel with traces of blue near the stock. Wood is very good overall. There is a repair at that is very well done and not easily seen. Gun works perfectly. Very nice example. Most of these military rifles are not martially marked. Extremely rare to find a martially marked example!
