Description:
Winchester 4th Model 1866 Musket. Serial # 162xxx ( 1884 Vintage ). 27" Roumd Barrel, proper Musket Sight and proper firing pins. Receiver is a nice patinaa Brass with a couple of dark areas ( See Photos ) Barrel has turned patina brown with some of the address still visable. Bore is dark, appears shootable with decent lands and grooves. Wood is rather nice with Original finish in most areas. No deep digs, just some handling marks from age. Appears the front swivel has been off the gun leaving marks on the forend from being removed.
Overall, a pretty decent 66 Musket. Not minty by any means. A good entry collector, original, shootable and all there. No papers needed to purchase. Thanks for looking.
