Description:
Pre 64 Winchester Model 64 Deluxe in 30-30 Caliber. Serial # 2599855 ( One of the last pre 64 Winchesters ever produced ). This gun's Serial # is 13,855 past the published last number built and 100,145 before the published 1st post 64 Model 94 or 64 built.. Regardless, this is an unusual gun. The inner parts of this gun are milled, not stamped like a post 64. Again, quite interesting. The barrel caliber is marked Model 94. The receiver has the standard proof mark as well as the barrel. There are product service or warranty proofs also on the barrel ( See photos ). The bore is mint as is all the other metal. There is some stock work around the the upper and lower rear tangs on the right side ( See photos ). Also a little work on the left side. I have had this gun for several years and have not been able to chase the any info down on it. Sure is a puzzle. Really nice gun. 64 Deluxe Configuration with a barrel marked 94. Anybody knows anything about it I would sure like to hear. The gun is for sale. FFL or C&R Required for Transfer or a Florida resident with a Conceal Carry permit does not have to fill out paperwork.
