MARLIN GOLDEN 39A DL DELUXE OR 39-A .22LR LEVER ACTION TAKEDOWN RIFLE WITH SCOPE, CIRCA 1961. One of only 3,300 made between 1961-63 with deluxe wood which this one has. Serial number "U16XX". 24" barrel with factory sights and top rail mounted Redfield LO-pro widefield fixed power scope. Mount utilizes factory holes on top of receiver so NO extra holes drilled. 99% of original factory blue remains. Right handed Hammer extension for use of scope. Crisp factory checkering on nicely feathered wood. Factory relief carved squirrel on right buttstock. Mint bore. Only signs of use are ding that had been sanded out on left side of stock just under comb(professionally done). Spectacular piece of deluxe wood that supposedly(along with squirrel) was special order.
