PRE-64 WINCHESTER MODEL 70 FEATHERWEIGHT .243WIN BOLT ACTION RIFLE WITH SCOPE, CIRCA 1960. Serial "486XXX". 22" tapered barrel(correct for FW) with rear dovetail filled in and front ramp sweated off. Barrel address crisp but reblued nonetheless along with receiver which is now faded to a dark plum color. Stock has a thicker varnish than factory would have been but probably applied after refinish with checkering crisp but a bit shallow. Mint rifling and bore. Pachmayr vent rubber pad with 13 1/2" LOP. Weaver K4-1 Micro-trac scope with Weaver rings. Locks up nice and tight with pre-64 safety crisp. Buff leather sling. Nice pre-64 model 70 FW shooter that wont break the bank.
