The seller of this carbine says he purchased it through the DCM back in the early 1960's and that it was shipped to him from Anniston Army Depot by Railway Express for a total cost of less than $20. It is a nice carbine, with a perfect bore and chamber, and of course without any import marks, etc. Underwood barrel is dated 2 of 44.
