Description:
British Light Dragoon Flintlock Pistol by Wilkinson, with Post Office markings. Circa 1780-1800. Post Office issued guns are hard to find, and this example is by a very desirable maker. The bore is .65 caliber (carbine bore). Barrel length is 9”. Action works perfectly. Gun has an untouched beautiful dark mustard patina. Stock is very good, and markings are well stamped. There is a small wood repair on the left side of the stock and is not noticeable. This is a scarce Post Office pistol in fine condition!
