Description:
Super interesting 1886 Winchester in 45-70 with super hard to find close coupled set trigger! Has a number of options all confirmed with Cody and gun is unrestored and ready to use or display. Great Bore, Wood is sound and doesnt appear to be sanded or repaired fit is great! Wood is in proper shape considering the age of the rife and does have some period wear but in great shape. Buttplate is also in great shape. No cracks in wood or major issues.
Receiveer and metal all appear to be untouched original use and are looking good. Great Rifling andBore 22” Barrel, everything functions as it should on the rifle
Gun cycles fine and seems to be ready for another 100 years. Look at my other Winchester s or ask if you are looking for something else. I have a lot of Winchesters that I will be selling to fund some other interests.
