Super Rare 1894 Winchester Deluxe Short Rifle with ultra rare 1/2 Octagonal Barrel. There is an article Winter 2018 Winchester Collector Magazine about how rare short rifles are and the 1/2 Octagonal and Deluxe makes this one super rare guys.
Wood is proud to the receiver is unfinished and the fit is great! Wood is in proper shape considering the age of the rife and does have some period wear but in great shape. No cracks in wood or major issues. Receiver, butplate and fore end patina is awesome and untouched and looks fantastic. 30 WCF and sight is close to receiver and it has the short wood fore-end also...so all correct.
Lyman sight is coded DA correct for the gun I believe.
Overall a rare one to add to your collection
