Description:
8mm Mauser; 85% blue, Good bore, fair stock, 22'' barrel, Original blue finish and laminated stock and handguard. The bolt carrier is mis-matched, numbered 2186 with an eagle/359 proof. Stamped inside the milled panel on the left side of the receiver G.43, serial number and ac/44, along with an eagle/swaz military acceptance mark. The right side of the receiver is stamped with an eagle/359 proof. The receiver cover is stamped with an eagle/WaAA44 proof. The other small parts that are marked have an eagle/359 proof. The stock is not numbered externally, and has an eagle/359 proof on the front of the grip. The cleaning rod and front sight hood are missing. The stock has some water damage around the butt end, with some splitting on the toe and on the right side. The buttplate is a bit loose as well as the screws will not fully tighten and we did not want to force this. The handguard is free of any damage or crack. Includes the attached original late war leather sling. The original detachable 10 round magazine is marked gcb, K43 and has two eagle/WaA892 proofs, and retains 90% plus original black paint finish. The ZF4 scope is Voigtlander & Sohn manufacture coded ddx, serial numbered 11337 and is attached to an original mount with an eagle/214 proof serial numbered 9109. Includes the original leather lens covers. The optics are a bit cloudy but serviceable. From the Geoffrey Sturgess collection, our import mark appears on the back left corner of the receiver. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle, however show some darkness and frost throughout.

NOTE: Because of recent shipping restrictions and charges placed on us by UPS and FedEx (handguns must ship via next day or 2nd day air and they have added a $10 surcharge for parcels over 48”. Our return policy lasts a maximum of 3 days from the time you receive your item. If 3 days have passed since you received your purchase, and we have not been contacted by you, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
