Description:
Parker Bros.VH grade 16ga.Built in 1934,just before Remington took over Parker,this gun is one of the last Parker Bros.produced shotguns.It has 28" Vulcan steel barrels choked modified (.015") and full (.035") with 23/4" chambers.The bores are bright and free of any rust or dents.The gun is in outstanding all original condition.It retains at least 60% of the original case colors,95% of the original barrel blue,and 98% of the original wood finish.All of the screws are in time and clean.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage.The stock dimensions are 143/4" LOP over a Pachmayr Old English pad,15/8" at comb,and 25/8" at heel.The stock is uncut with 14" of wood,so the gun can be brought back to original length by removing the pad and installing a Parker buttplate.The gun locks up tightly with no play and the top lever is to the right of center.The gun is built on the standard #1 frame.A classic Parker built at the very end of the Parker Bros.era.C&R eligible.
