This is an intriguing Colt and one of my favorites this year I've had the pleasure of owning. This Colt Medium Frame Baby Carbine. This Carbine confirmed by the factory letter was shipped to A. Combaluzier in Mexico City Mexico on July 1st. 1886. This gun is in the .44CLMR Caliber. It retains 85% Period retailer applied Nickel finish. The stocks have been checkered by the retailer and finished beautifully. The markings are mostly very good but a few are a bit fainter. This gun has the "look". The bore is in beautiful condition and would rate a 8.5 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action functions flawlessly. The buttplate still shows much of the original finish.
