Description:
This is a Husqvarna Model M40 9mm pistol. Developed by gun designer Aimo Johannes Lahti of Finland as a L35 it was slightly modified as the M40 by Sweden. The M40 is a more common pistol. The operating parts are strong and well designed for extreme cold. The serrations on the slide are deep and tapered so that the slide can be retracted easily with a heavily gloved hand. The large trigger guard and protruding safety catch were also designed for a gloved hand operation. It comes with a black leather holster, 3 - 8 round magazines, cleaning rod and magazine screwdriver.
