(some very large firearms (example Barrett .50 BMGs) may cost extra to ship) All firearms must be either shipped to a dealer in your state or picked up at our retail store in Saint Marys, PA. The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. It is also the buyer's responsibility to insure that the dealer will accept the firearm(s). We encourage that the buyer contact the dealer before we transfer the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

**THIS CHIAPPA LYMAN IDEAL MODEL SHARPS RIFLE IS A MANUFACTURER'S SAMPLE / DISPLAY MODEL**
This Chiappa Lyman Ideal Model Sharps is a factory display / demo gun, it has minor cosmetic damage from being handled or lightly used. We did our best to highlight what we feel are the most outstanding marks, as you will see in the pictures most are quite minor. This firearm will still carry a mechanical warranty however it cannot be returned to us or Chiappa for any kind of cosmetic issue. Please look at all pictures as they are of the exact firearm you are on and will receive! The masking tape was put on the saddle ring to protect the color case on the receiver.

Manufactured in Italy by Chiappa Firearms, Lyman’s Ideal Model Sharps sports a blued barrel, a polished finish receiver, hammer, lever and double-set triggers, as well as a brightly-finished, shotgun-style butt plate. The rifle is fitted with Lyman’s famed globe front and adjustable tang rear sight. Additionally, this elegant little rifle has a handsome European walnut stock and schnabble-type forearm. The handy mini-Sharps is also attractively decorated on the receiver with laser-engraved artwork that is somewhat reminiscent of the buffalo hunting era, while the butt plate bears an attractive laser engraving of the Lyman bighorn sheep circular logo with the legend “Lyman, 1878.”
