This is a beautiful 1980's vintage Winchester Diamond Grade 12 Gauge Trap Gun in nearly pristine condition complete with the original box, manual, inserts, and a factory Winchester Luggage hard case. The "Diamond Grade Trap" was Winchester's finest trap over and under shotgun based off of the Model 101 in the 1980's Made in Japan, the Diamond Grade Trap features 30" high-post ventilated rib barrels with the top barrel choked "Full" and the bottom barrel threaded for Winchoke choke tubes. The high-post vent rib has a ivory mid-bead and ivory bead front sight. The rib between the barrels is ventilated as well, and the rear of the barrels that reside in the receiver are polished and jeweled. The Diamond Grade Trap model has a silver satin-finished engraved receiver with floral and scroll designs as well as a diamond on each side. The bottom of the receiver is engraved with more scroll and floral designs as well as the make and model, " Diamond Grade" and "Winchester". The gun features automatic ejectors and a single selectable trigger finished with a gold finish. The factory stock set is deluxe checkered Walnut with a gloss finish, with a black diamond design on the top of the wrist and the bottom of the pistol grip. The Trap model comes with a factory Winchester-branded black recoil pad. The length of pull is 14.5" inches and weighs 8lbs 13oz. This example is serial number DG490922E and is in excellent original condition. This Diamond Grade Trap gun has been carried very little and fired even less! The factory blued parts of this gun rate 98 to 99% with no visible defects or wear. The satin finished receiver is equally as clean with no scratches or handling/storage marks visible. The only two metal parts on this Winchester that show any finish wear is the gold finish on the trigger, and some light staining on the satin finish of the forearm release hardware. Both of these areas do not detract from the beautiful overall appearance of this Diamond Grade Trap. The bores in this shotgun are minty and bright. They are free from pitting, dents, bulges, or imperfections of any kind. The threads for the choke tubes are clean and in perfect shape. The original deluxe Walnut stock set is in excellent condition, 100% free from cracks or repairs, and retaining 98 to 99% of the factory gloss finish. The stock set has clean and crisp checkering with no soiling, and only has some very minor handling/storage dings in the wood if you look very closely. The factory recoil pad is in excellent shape, fitted to the buttstock perfectly and tight to the wood. Everything on this Winchester works 100% like the day it left the factory. All of the controls work perfectly and the action locks up tight with zero play in it. This Winchester Diamond Grade Trap gun comes with the original box, 4 Winchoke tubes, choke wrench, owner's manual, and all of the inserts it was shipped from the factory with. It also comes with an original Winchester Luggage Case. The Luggage Case is in good shape overall. The exterior has some staining but the inside is pristine and clean. The combination locks work perfectly and structurally the case is in excellent condition.
