Empire State Arms Top Break Double Action Revolver
C&R in .32 S&W
Here we present an Empire State Arms Top Break Double Action Revolver in .32 Smith & Wesson, made circa the early-1900s. It was intended for the commercial market for self-defense. The top of the barrel is marked “EMPIRE STATE ARMS CO.” and the left side of the barrel is marked “FOR .32 SMITH & WESSON CARTRIDGES”.
The overall condition is fair. The metal surfaces were cleaned a while ago and are gaining a light gray patina. The markings are legible. The hard rubber grips show wear but are solid. The bore is fair with good rifling and some dark spots. The action is functional in double action only.
