Description:
U.S. Springfield model 1816 musket. Lock is dated 1829. Barrel still retains its “tobacco brown” finish with most of the lacquer on the barrel remains present. Stock is in excellent condition with “raised grain” which means little use. Cartouche’s are visible and strong. This is an overall excellent example of an American shoulder arm.
