Manufactured in 1969, this 2nd Generation Colt SAA is chambered in .357 Magnum caliber. According to "The Post-War Single Action Revolver" by Don Wilkerson, there were approximately 616 made in this configuration. He states that 2nd Generation Single Action revolvers with a nickel finish are the rarest in the .357 Magnum series. Only about 9% of .357 Magnums are finished in nickel, and for this reason they are very difficult to find in pristine condition. This gun, fitted with a 4 3/4 inch barrel and mint condition two piece walnut grips is as new in the box, has never been fired or turned and comes with its original box and paper-work.
