Mod.), 2 3/4" chambers, Slight concave top rib, The frame machined from a solid block, A 28 bore on a 28 gauge frame, Double triggers with the front articulated, Bushed strikers, Rolled trigger guard edge for the right or left hand, Splinter game forend with an Anson release, Straight hand stock at 15 x 1 7/16 x 2 3/8” over a 3/4 face checkered butt, Slight cast-off for the right hand, Gold plated internal parts including the forend, Great 28 bore game gun weight at 5 lbs. 12 oz., 25% coverage of very nice Germanic Scroll engraving, A full case color hardened frame, It has slight carved fences with a round body frame, It has a very nice Upgraded Turkish walnut stock with nice color & contrast of deep brown & black, This piece has 2 retainer screws which secure key screws, This very nice 28 Bore Game Gun remains totally original and in nearly new condition. The metal remains in 99% factory original condition and the wood certainly at 99%, 100% of the case colors remaining. The whole is cased in the maker's leather trunk with a trade label and accessories complete with a canvas over cover. These guns are made for Krieghoff by Jens Ziegenhahn, a 4th generation gunmaker from a family that plied its trade from Suhl, Germany putting out handmade sporting firearms. The piece can be bought here for 1/2 the price of their 2018 listing.
