Description:
30 Luger; 98% blue, 95% straw, excellent bore, excellent grips, 4.75'' barrel, This pistol falls into a serial number range of a second lot of "Swiss Model" pistols made by Mauser, numbered 1873v-1919v. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are all matching. The magazine is the proper sheet steel variation with aluminum bottom which is not numbered and the grip panels are not numbered. The top of the toggle is stamped with an 8-line Mauser banner logo and the top of the chamber has the Swiss Cross in Sunburst crest. This particular pistol has no German proofing. The barrel is stamped on the right side with a small Swiss cross proof and on the bottom with a Berner Probe mark. The bottom of the rear toggle is stamped with a scriptic S, indicating production after 1934, when Mauser was producing military pistols and marking the parts with the S inspection stamp and was evidently using these parts for finishing commercial contracts. Condition: Excellent overall. The metal finish shows some minor sharp edge and high point wear. There are some light scratches on the right side frame rail and on the left side frame. The straw color on the small parts remains uniform. The grips are excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically fine with a bright sharp bore. C&R/FFL

Our return policy lasts a maximum of 3 days from the time you receive your item.
