I have for sale a very nice nice Connecticut Valley Classic 12 gauge shotgun in the Classic Sporter III model. When Classic Doubles discontinued producing guns the principal owners still believed in the design of the Winchester 101 and so they decided to build the gun in the states rather than in Japan. They opened up shop under the name of Connecticut Valley Classics and began producing guns true to the 101 design. The mechanical design they used was nearly identical to the Japanese version with the most significant deviation being changing the threaded parts to American thread sizes and changing the frame and forend material to 416 stainless steel. Most mechanical parts are directly interchangeable with the Winchester 101 or the Classic Doubles 101. This particular gun was purchased directly from one of the owners of the company and was his personal gun, thus the great piece of wood. This gun has 30 inch barrels with a wide target ventilated rib and screw in chokes, 4 included. This gun is very well made and tight with lever well right of center. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 X 15 over the factory pad with an trigger that is adjustable for LOP. Price of the gun is $1200 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. This is a lot of gun at a great price and will give years of dependable service. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
