Description:
9mm Luger; 92% blue, 10% straw, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Scarce commercial variation with approximately 2000 made circa 1913 and referred to as the Model 1914 as these pistols share the same characteristics as the 1914 model military pistols with stock lug and chambering for the 9mm Parabellum cartridge. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are matching (numbered in the commercial style). Proper unmarked wood bottom magazine is excellent condition. The grips are not numbered. Stamped on top of the toggle with the DWM monogram. Commercial crown/N proofs appear on the left side of the receiver vertically, breechbolt and toggle and on the bottom of the barrel. This particular pistol is from the Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess collection. Condition: Good-very good overall. The metal finish shows edge and some high point holstering wear, with slight thinning on the grip frame straps. There is scattered minor surface spotting. The straw color on the small parts is darkening overall. The grip panels have small handling marks, the checkering remains fairly sharp and well defined. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some wear to the rifling with some darkness in the grooves. C&R/FFL

NOTE: Because of recent shipping restrictions and charges placed on us by UPS and FedEx (handguns must ship via next day or 2nd day air and they have added a $10 surcharge for parcels over 48”. Our return policy lasts a maximum of 3 days from the time you receive your item. If 3 days have passed since you received your purchase, and we have not been contacted by you, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
