Description:
This is a 2nd Model Maynard 50 caliber percussion carbine. The serial number is 11481. The condition is excellent with over 90-95% dark blue finish. The frame retains 95% dark case colors. The bore and mechanical function is excellent plus. There are two inspector cartouches on the left wrist side. The 2nd Model was shipped between 1863 and 1865 with a total of 20,202 being shipped for Civil War usage. It was popular with the Union Cavalry regiments.
