Description:
Wade & Butcher Bowie Knife, Sheffield, England. Hand forged 8-inch blade, this iconic Bowie is made by one of the oldest blade companies in England, they are most noted for their straight razors but also a variety of knives, including bowies which were very popular in the late 19th century. Blade is bright with an acid etched design on the left side, but shows a rusty on the right in the clip near the point. This most likey be polished out. Brass cross guard and hardwood scales secured with 4- brass pins. Manufactured in 1973.
