Sold Awaiting Funds!!! This is a very nice old Savage that had a scope base and rings installed that did not require drilling and tapping the top of the receiver. The but plate is original and has an indian chief ingraved on it along with the Savage Tradmark.The bluing on the scope is more worn than the rifle but it is an old Hawk 4X scope that is perfectly clear and the adjustments work fine. The lever has most of it's color case hardening. The bluing is worn as pictured. The stock has no gouges, cracks or repairs. There are numerous hunting marks and slight dents. ?The gun apears to be well taken care for it's age. A collectible and exceptional fine old Savage. Shipping $75.00 in a hard case.
