This is one of the finest Colts we have ever offered for sale! This is an amazing condition Colt From The Great War. This Colt was produced in 1917. The serial number for this pistol is 174344. This is the standard Army model as issued in World War One. This Colt is in unissued condition and unfired! The original bluing would rate a 100% condition. The grips would also rate a almost 100% condition. The original two tone magazine is in the same condition. The bolt face still retains some original grease on the face. The action also retains some of the shipping grease. The barrel shows no rub marks due to working the slide. The barrel has the correct "H P" proof marks on the top. The Blue coloring shows no fading or turning with age. This is stunning condition pistol for the advanced collector of military firearms as well as the Colt collector. This Colt also comes with a 1916 Millsbelt. The Magazine pouch is also Mills and dated1916. The magazines in the pouch are correct World War One two tone magazines. The holster is dated 1917 and appears unused. The World War One first aid kit is intact in a Rock Island Arsenal dated 1909 pouch. The pistol belt rig is in almost unused condition. This complete rig came with this pistol and was always together. This Colt and belt rig was part of a Veterans estate and was never offered for sale before.
