Very clean 1956 vintage Colt Single Action Army fitted with a 5 1/2 inch barrel, checkered black plastic "Rampant Colt" grips, is full nickel plated, and chambered in .38 Special. This Single Action retains approximately 97-98%+ of its original nickel finish, with a drag line on the cylinder, a number of very minor surface scratches on the cylinder, a few very small spots of bubbling on the back-strap, and a small area of flaking on the right side of the frame above the base pin screw/nut, the front sight and back-strap. The bore looks like new and the action functions perfectly, with a tight action and excellent timing. A very attractive and rare Single Action (only 312 were made in this configuration).
