Description:
9mm Luger; 90% blue, 75% straw, Good bore, very good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. All matching except the magazine, which is a proper sheet steel variation with aluminum bottom, numbered 7231h/+ with a droop wing eagle/63 proof. The grips are not numbered. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Mauser code S/42 and on top of the chamber with the date code G (1935). The right side of the receiver is stamped with two droop wing eagle/63 proofs and a droop wing eagle military acceptance mark. Other droop wing eagle acceptance marks appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. A small droop wing eagle/63 proof appears over the left side of the barrel. The metal finish shows sharp edge and high point holster wear, with thinning to brown on the grip frame straps. Mechanically fine. Rig, inlcudes an original medium brown leather holster. The back is maker marked however the date is hidden by the front belt loop. A droop wing eagle/WaA387 proof is located between the belt loops. The holster is in good original condition with most of the original stitching intact (the rear belt loop is a period replacement) and is complete with an original W/154 proofed takedown tool.
