Attention M1 Garand shooters and collectors! Up for sale today is a US HRA M1 Garand serial no. 4660161, the 160th Garand produced by Harrington and Richardson, in caliber .30-06. This excellent Army-rebuilt M1 Garand shows excellent original finish on both metal and wood. The barrel shows a mint bore, a barrel date of “HRA 4-53,” a throat erosion reading of 1.75 and a muzzle wear reading of 1.5. The rifle has a rebuild date on the leg of the receiver of “SA 12-64.” An outstanding example of a very early HRA M1 Garand, this rifle would be a fine addition to any connoisseur’s collection.
