Up for sale today is a US Springfield Model 1898 Krag serial no. 420166 (1902 production) chambered in caliber .30-40 Krag. This excellent original rifle has an excellent bore, and apparent cartouches. The finish on the stock is excellent, and the metal parts show excellent patina. A great rifle and a great addition to any collection.
