Description:
Remington New Model Single Action Belt revolver in the rare nickel finish. Serial Number 42604. Factory Conversions to .38 Rimfire were produced from 1870 to 1886. Flaydermans says there were approximately 2500 to 3,000 made, Fjestad says around 5,000. Either way, they're still pretty scarce. 6 1/2" barrel. Works perfectly and locks up tight. Retains over 80% of it's original Nickel finish with most of the loss on the grip straps. There are a couple of spots of light pitting. The brass trigger guard retains about 20% of its silver plating. The original numbered grips have a small chip missing from the toe of the right grip and retain about 75% of their original finish.
