#4750 Winchester 1886 OBFMCB 40/65WCF, 38XXX (1890 mfgr) Fine bore, being about a 8+ on a scale of 10 and smooth tight action. It looks like it should toss a slug with some real serious accuracy, especially since the 40/65WCF has almost the same specs as its Big Brother, the shoulder punishing 40/82WCF. The exterior is smooth crisp edged grayish brown with some brown staining (not pitting) on the barrel and FAINT traces of thin blue and ALMOST some faded case color dimly evident on the “silvered” receiver. Wood is about Fine, with very light wear and just minors/bruises, standard open sights, and fine markings. As mentioned, the 40/65WCF is a shorter range version of the 40/82WCF but still with very close ballistic specs at the shorter ranges (100-250 yards), plus it is FAR less recoil and a much more comfortable cartridge to shoot. …So if you have some loose tooth fillings, or an arthritic shoulder, this is the rifle for you!! About VG+ as described. $2675
