Description:
Browning Superposed 28 gauge superlight configured as a D5G Special by master engraver Angelo Bee. The 28” barrels are factory choked stamped IC/Mod but they measure SK/SK; and the vent rib is hand filed. The fairly rare Browning D5G pattern is faithfully recreated by Angelo down to the checkered/blued trigger. Angelo tastefully added two gold mallards to the right side, two gold flying pheasants to the left side and four gold flying pheasants on the bottom. The buttstock and forearm are from a very handsome piece of French walnut. As a superlight it has a straight grip and Schnabel forend. The Stock is 14 3/8” LOP, 1 3/8” DAC, 2 3/8” DAH, with RH cast all to a checkered butt. The checkering is 24 LPI with beautifully detailed carved borders. Ther forearm is one piece but made to look like a three piece! Single selective trigger and non-automatic safety. Weight 6 lbs. 1 oz. Outstanding example of Angelo’s talent.
